OIL SAFETY

Like your parents always told you, "Safety First!" Essential oils are completely safe when used correctly. If your safety questions are not answered below, please email them to dailydoseoils@gmail.com.

Where can you apply essential oils?

Essential oils can be applied topically to most of the body. Be sure to dilute if its your first time using the oil! However, do not put oils in your eyes and ears. Also be cautious not to get oils in your private areas...it may cause some burning and discomfort.

If you accidentally get the oils in your eye, ONLY use a carrier oil (olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, etc.) to dilute the oil out of your eye. Do NOT add water. Water does not interact with the essential oil and therefore cannot retract the oil from your eye. Your vision may be blurred from the carrier oil but this will go away shortly.

How do I know which oils I can safely take internally?

The simple answer is check the bottle. If there is a Supplement Fact on the label, then that oil is safe to take internally. We recommend that you take 1-2 drops at a time internally either in a veggie capsule or in a 4 oz glass of water or other liquid.
